We will do our best to reschedule your car if your event is postponed. This would be subject to availability.
Experiences: Our experiences are designed to give you the ultimate day out, without blowing your budget! 3 – 4 hours provides enough time to experience a Famous Ride, along with an activity. If creating your own experience, a minimum of 2 hours is recommended to get the most out of your day.
Formals: Depending on the size of the school, you can sometimes be waiting in the entrance line for between 30 – 40 minutes. A 2 hour hire should be plenty of time for pick up, photos and drop off.
Weddings: Most brides and grooms will want the cars for transport as well as photos. Our most popular packages are the half day hires. (4 hours). It may sound like a long time, however this includes the transport to the venue, ceremony and then photos afterwards. You don’t want to be stressed on the day about not having enough time to get all the shots you want.
We will accommodate requests where possible. If you need extra time after the initial hire time has run out, we charge in 15 minute increments.
If you paid by credit card, the same card will be charged for the extra time. If you paid by another method, an invoice will be sent for payment after the event.
Any extra charges will be discussed on the day with the hirer.

Yes, if hiring the cars and designing your own experience, the minimum hire time is 2 hours.
A travel fee may apply, depending how far away you are, although is NOT applicable for any Gold Coast or Southern Brisbane areas. No extra fees are payable in these suburbs.
This one is for the Supernatural fans! You can request your driver turn up as one of the characters from the show! Currently available:
- Male hunters i.e. Dean Winchester style or Samuel Campbell
- Female hunters i.e. Mary Winchester style

Famous Rides holds all the appropriate licences to operate a Booked Hire Service in Queensland. This includes:
- Driver Authorisations
- Booking Entity Authorisations
- CTP and Comprehensvie insurance
- Public Liability insurance.
- All our cars also have booked hire authorities
Copies of all of these insurances are available upon request.
Yes! However it is vintage air con, so it will not be as effective as modern day car air conditioning, especially on very hot days.
We do ANY event! Whether you need a wedding car, formal car, a ride to your Christmas Party, or if you simply want to go for a cruise in the car from your favourtie TV show! Many of our clients purchase an experience as a surprise for their partner or friend
In the event of extreme weather, we may be late or unable to arrive. If this happens we will call you to let you know. We are passionate about our cars & protecting them from damage is of the utmost importance to us. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information.
All our cars have lap sash seat belts. Booster seats can be attached. Amara cannot carry a baby seat, however Baby has a seat anchor and can have a rearward or forward facing seat installed. Seat would need to be provided by the hirer.
If you would like white wedding ribbons on the cars, please advise at the time of booking. We also have Just Married bunting for use in photos and tin cans. (tin cans can’t be used on public roads)
